How we earn your trust

Editorial and directory standards

Sources are checked, not followed blindly.

We use official statistics, original research and identifiable practitioners. Practitioner experience and commercial claims are distinguished from independent evidence. Recognition alone does not establish that every claim is correct.

Every lesson has responsible limits.

We aim for useful choices, accessible language and no victim blaming. Physical skills require qualified supervision. We write original resources and attribute source ideas; we do not reproduce proprietary training programmes.

News needs context.

We check dates, jurisdictions, statistical definitions and court reasons. Automated monitoring identifies leads and prepares drafts. It does not publish news or approve sources.

Our planned directory standards

The global instructor directory is coming soon. These standards will guide entry when it launches.

Before a profile can appear, an administrator records checks of identity, relevant qualifications, insurance, consent and safeguarding practices, accessibility information, and a complaints contact. Checks expire and require renewal. Readers should also ask their own questions before booking.

A checked listing describes the checks recorded on its profile. It is not a guarantee of safety, teaching quality or suitability for every person.

Payment does not buy approval.

Instructors may pay for listing services after meeting entry criteria. Sponsorship is labelled and does not determine editorial conclusions. The directory will use alphabetical order; advertising is kept separate from editorial resources.
