Look beyond individual advice

Violence against women requires prevention and institutional responses. Useful education should sit alongside action by organisations and communities.

Choose a specific request

Ask a workplace to explain its reporting process. Ask a venue where assistance is available. Support consent education or specialist survivor services.

Follow through

Record what was promised and when you will ask for an update. Avoid sharing someone’s story without permission. A practical call to action should name who can act and what change is requested.

Keep the responsibility clear. These options cannot guarantee safety. Responsibility for violence belongs to the perpetrator. Choose what fits your circumstances.
